Special Dates-Thanksgiving Day

Rosh Hashanah - Happy Jewish New Year!

Friends,

The Jewish New Year is knocking at our door. It is time to recite the customary blessing again: "May it be Your will to renew for us a good and sweet year". And may this wish not be restricted only to the children of Israel, but to all human beings who live in the name of peace and harmony.
The new year renews our hopes that anti-Semitism will be eradicated and that the disappearance of terrorism will leave the field of dreams to become a lasting reality. We must pray that the desires of Freedom, Justice and Peace may avenge, overcoming all vileness, malice and all the wrath that has been directed at us since the beginning of Zionism.
We need to live with hope and without fear, always keeping the flame of harmony between peoples burning, even in relation to the neighbors of the State of Israel, who insist on attacking us in a systematic and cowardly way. We need to keep our channels of communication and relationships open, whether between constituted States or between the Jewish People who live in Israel and those children who are in the Diaspora, and the New Year must be a milestone in our struggle for peace, security and the guarantee of a peaceful life for all who inhabit our planet.
May this New Year be blessed and result in more health and accomplishments for all of us!

Shaná Tová!
