Today is a day of celebration and joy. Today is Friendship Day and I propose that we celebrate this milestone of brotherhood with good humor and high spirits.
Today we will not give a chance to bad moods and negative thoughts. Let’s toast to the glory of life, and to the good fortune of living in a healthy and peaceful atmosphere. Let's drink to that, distributing smiles and pleasantries.
I do not know where the idea of devoting a day especially to Friendship came from. I do not know when the date was set, much less why July 20 was chosen, but it certainly is good to thank God for good friends and the good people He puts in our path.
